These days – with the advent of reasonably priced, high-quality DSLR cameras – anyone can go out and buy nice gear and start taking pictures. But there's more to great portrait photography than good equipment. An eye for design, a sense of style, a willingness to try "something different' and a good demeanor all go a long way towards making a beginning photographer into a an intermediate or advanced photographer.
